Spring Fever!!!

It is so hard to work when it is almost 80 out and I just want to put shorts on and play in the garden. No pictures yet, because, well, I lost my camera. Found it again about a week later. I will try to get out and take some pictures soon!
My Kiwi is starting to leaf out, and hopefully I will get some fruit this year! My garlic and shallots that I planted in the fall are growing strong. I can't wait for some fresh garlic! Mt tomatoes are growing every day. I swear when I get home from work each night they are bigger each time!

Has Spring Sprung?

So Spring was not really here last month. I know I shouldn't expect it that early, but I am a spoiled southerner and I do!!! I started my seedlings late last month, and started re-potting my tomatoes last night (March 23). If I remember I will post pictures. I actually took pictures of the "before" and will take the re-potted pics tonight (OK, maybe tomorrow, have dog training class tonight).
About me being a blogger- I WANT to post pictures here and write about my garden adventures, but I am also a slacker and quite lazy. I guess only time will tell if this blog has more than 2 posts :)

Spring!

I can't wait for spring. I live in the south (and therefore, in my mind, have thin blood) and am tired of the winter. I don't like being cold all the time and am waiting for the joy of spring and plants blooming. Also, I am dying for a fresh homegrown tomato!!
